Lauren
16 years' Experience
Lauren opened Golden Rule Tattoo in 2023 after 15 years as a tattoo artist. A Grand Haven native, Lauren has dedicated more than a decade to Michigan's tattoo scene, plus several years across Cincinnati and Tampa. Her work fuses bold traditional tattoos, gritty Japanese styles, clean lettering, and lush botanical illustrations. There is no fluff, just solid tattoos that speak loudly and are worn proudly.

Gab
11 years' Experience
Gab has been tattooing since 2014 and has won awards like Best in Show and Best Color. She's all about vibrant color work - even glitter tattoos! Gab grew up in Traverse City, but spent a few years traveling around Texas, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania, where she completed a tattoo apprenticeship. She gravitates toward neotraditional, surreal, and floral/mandala designs, but what she really loves is bringing new ideas to life.

Jenni
5 years' Experience
Jenni is geographer and sci-fi enthusiast turned tattooist, with experience starting in 2020. She specializes in thick lines, bold shading, and bright, colorful Western traditional tattoos. Think your grandpa’s navy ink or your uncle’s 1970s carnival tattoo. She's inspired by working-class art, William Morris, vintage commercial design, and maritime craft traditions.
Jenni says:
